What I want to sell this bike for is one billion US dollars. Anyone who tells you they want less for their bike probably doesn’t think very much of it. Well, I do.
She is in near perfect condition with barely any miles. Please know that to get a garage queen like this with virtually every farkle in existence is a pretty sweet if that is what you are looking for. And if you are reading this then you are interested. That said one billion US dollars doesn’t really reflect the market demand hahaha! (if you can’t laugh then you need to ride more)
The market demands a more realistic price so I am listing it for $3467 and that price is open to negotiation. Rest assured that I live here and love Milwaukee,WI and that I want to see you out riding safe and having fun with this bike NOW (after you pick it up here). Summer has just begun so it is time for you to be out riding NOW!
Depending on where your read this please contact me by whatever is easiest for you for example Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, LinkedIn, Craiglist or plain old email ([email protected]).
Here is a pre-thank you for everyone who shares their opinion on this bike and it’s listing price. I will take it all under immediate consideration.
Here is her smiling face! Can’t you see yourself out this summer sport-touring on the cheap and super-fast?!
This comes with her special friend: M.U.T.T.. That’s the monster under the tank. Wherever you and her go, MUTT follows. MUTT gives you just aboutONE HUNDRED HORSEPOWER; With the pleasantness and affection of any good mutt.
If you are interested in a Connie, then you already did your home work. So did I. Save yourself some time and money and start here and start riding now!
When observing the bike from the RH side, rotate the center cable mechanism CW so the carbs are at full throttle. This will bring the “pull” cable access “notch” so it faces the rear of the bike, and more accessible from the top. During the time you are rotating the mechanism, pay attention to the individual carb linkages and you will see a gap form between a stop and a section of the linkage. When the carbs are at full throttle, find a suitable flat blade screw driver and wedge it in this gap to hold the carbs open once you’ve released the cable mechanism. This will give you ample time to fiddle with getting the cable end in the hole and engaged. A pair of long, long-nosed needle nose pliers, or a long hemostat works best in getting the cable end in place.
Last Sunday I got the ’05 ZG1000 Conc out. Checked the tire pressure, oil, turn signals, and made sure no rodents had taken up residence. Started right up. Somehow she rides even better than last year, the GL footpeg lowering kit and rised handlebars make it feel like a totally different bike. Mileage: 11,992. If I hit 18k this summer that would be fun, but either way I won’t need another oil change until end of the season :).
Last year I had a Signal Dynamics BackOFF Brake Light Signal Module installed.
Not much more to say than “it just works” and more importantly it has never let me down.
My riding is more around cars and highway traffic than other motorcycles, so it is more than worth its price.
